ClassDojo is a platform for managing communication between teachers and parents and tracking student behavior in the classroom. A teacher can record positive behavior, send updates and photos from the classroom, and communicate with parents easily and transparently, all through one app.

The tool is mainly aimed at elementary school teachers, but also at middle and high school teachers managing parent relationships who want a central tool for behavioral tracking. It’s very popular among educators who want to strengthen transparency with parents and document educational processes over time, especially at younger ages where communication with parents is more intensive.

The basic version is free and covers most day-to-day functions, but some advanced capabilities, including some AI tools, are reserved for the paid ClassDojo Plus plan. Teachers also need to pay attention to using the behavior-tracking system properly, so it doesn’t create negative comparisons between students or excess pressure on young students.
